Pass costs varies according to final destination (Mainland/Lido or Venice-Tronchetto) and the category of authorisation.

Fares indicated on the summary table are valid valid until 11.59pm or until 02:00 on the day following the date of issue (with restrictions on access to Venice for certain types of pass) with limitations of access to Venice for some types of pass) with the exception of certain special passes which are valid for a maximum of 3 or 14 hours, and the hotel pass, which is valid until 19:00 on the day following the issue of the pass or, in the case of a multi-day pass, until the end of the last night’s stay.

A maximum of 4 entries per day are permitted across the Ponte della Libertà in the direction of Venice (Piazza Roma, Marittima and Tronchetto) within the validity period of the pass itself for the following categories:

• Standard
• Minibuses
• Hotels
• School trips
• Residents
• Exemptions (Category J)

MINIBUS RATES
Coaches subject to the rules are divided into two categories: "COACHES" with more than 16 seats plus driver; "MINIBUSES" approved for carrying more than 8 passengers plus driver, up to a maximum of 16 passengers plus driver, the driving of which a D Licence is required. 3/93.

SCHOOL TRIP RATES
To obtain the school-group passes, which are reserved only to state schools or equivalent (nursery school, primary/junior schools, secondary schools/colleges), at the Check-Ins group leaders must show suitable documentation on headed notepaper of the school/college with the following requirements: 

• the class they belong to;
• the programme of the school trip with Venice as destination;
• the original stamp of the school/college with signature of the group leader.
 

*HOTEL-RELATED RATES
The Venice City Council grants special reductions to coaches that bring tourists who are staying only at accommodation within the Venice ZTL area ("hotel coaches").
The hotel-related passes are issued only at the check-in points subject to presenting documentation confirming the accommodation booking.
